WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS

In 2024, the LCDW presented a program on Reproductive Rights. We believe these rights include:

The right to plan a family

The right to use birth control and emergency contraception

The right to receive sex education in public schools

The right to end a pregnancy

The right to access reproductive health services.

CLIMATE CHANGE & ENVIRONMENT

​In 2023, the LCDW presented a program on Climate Change. We are committed to curbing the effects of climate change, protecting America's natural resources, and ensuring the equality of our air, water, and land for current and future generations

JUNETEENTH​

Our second annual Juneteenth Program will feature Ken Moore, Democratic candidate for TN House 21, and Rev. Dr. Willa Estell, President of the Alcoa NAACP, speaking on the meaning and importance of Juneteenth.
